Jackets To Wear With Any Outfit

When the weather starts to get cooler, that means it is time to bring out the layering pieces and jackets. There are so many different kinds of jackets out there, and each give your outfit a different kind of vibe. This post is about cute and functional jackets for fall that will help you look instantly chic. All of these jackets can also be worn with any outfit! A jacket is the final piece to an outfit and can make you look put together. These are some jackets I have and love for fall!!

1. A Bomber

One of the reasons I love a bomber so much, is because it is lined (so it'll keep you warm), but lightweight (so it isn't super bulky). A bomber is such an easy jacket to throw on with anything. Usually, bombers are a little cropped, so this is a great jacket to throw on with jeans and a top that's tucked in, or a dress! A bomber gives off a really laid back yet slightly edgy vibe. The beauty of a bomber is that you can get a plain black one that will go with anything, or a fun one! They make bombers in colors, leather, patterns, you name it! A bomber is a fun and easy jacket to throw on and you can make the look totally your own!

2. An Oversized Blazer

I know this isn't ~technically~ a jacket, but it can totally work in the same way. Would I wear this in the winter, probably not. But in the fall when the weather is just a little chilly, an oversized blazer can act in the same way as a jacket, while looking incredibly sleek. I specifically said an oversized blazer for this because then you can layer or wear a sweater underneath. I picture this look for fall with black jeans, a colored sweater, and an oversized plaid blazer. You can even layer a blazer over a matching set of sweatpants and a sweatshirt to make it look more fashionable! An oversized blazer also looks cute when paired with a beanie, so this is a great transitional layer that will make you feel as great as you look.

3. A Leather Jacket

It's no secret how much I love a good leather jacket, so this one obviously made the list for a good fall jacket. There is something so cool about a leather jacket paired with a bootie, which makes this the perfect kind of transitional jacket. If you want to dress a leather jacket down for an everyday look, pair it with a graphic tee, a pair of jeans, and a chunky combat boot. A comfortable leather jacket is so easy to wear, especially when the weather starts to get a little cooler. When you find that leather jacket that you love, you can throw it on over just about any outfit and you look cool, edgy, and effortless.

4. A Moto Jacket

This one sounds pretty similar to a leather jacket, but depending on the fabric it can be totally different. If you have a funky color or different material- like suede or shearling- a moto jacket looks nothing like a leather jacket! I have a purple faux shearling moto jacket that is so different and fun than any other jacket I own. They make some really cool and exciting moto jackets that are perfect for fall. I love a moto jacket over a dress for that edgy/ feminine look. If you have a fun color jacket it also looks really great with a monotone look underneath. Have fun with this kind of jacket, and this is another one that can totally be an elevated everyday jacket!

5. Teddy Coat

If you are all about cozy jackets, this is the perfect one for you. A teddy coat can be long, which is great for the really chilly weather, or shorter which is great for fall. I got a teddy coat last year and can honestly say I wore it more than my winter coat last year! The beauty of a teddy coat is that it's lined on the inside to keep you warm, but looks like a high end fashionable jacket. I layer my teddy coat over EVERYTHING- from sweats and turtlenecks, to t-shirts. A teddy coat looks great but is really just a cozy jacket that feels light and easy to wear. It definitely gives off more of a relaxed and easy look than a leather jacket, but looks just as cute.

6. Faux Shearling Lined

I have to admit, I am a little obsessed with this kind of jacket. I am a huge fan of faux shearling lined jackets, especially leather and suede ones. This is the same idea as a leather or moto jacket, but a lot warmer. This is the kind of jacket that can totally be taken from fall into the winter. I saw a suede faux shearling lined jacket when I was studying abroad last year and bought it immediately. Cozy yet chic is how I would describe this kind of jacket. You can layer this with anything underneath, but it looks really cool with a pair of jeans and boots for an everyday easy look! I like how this kind of jacket looks oversized so that you can layer underneath without looking bulky! I highly recommend this jacket for fall!
