My Favorite Makeup Products

Finding new makeup is always fun and exciting. Especially when you are introduced to new makeup products that you did not know about before. I am someone who does not get too crazy about makeup, and when I find something I like, I use it forever. Today I am sharing some of my favorite makeup products that I have been using for years- all of which look great and are perfect for my sensative skin! I will link everything at the bottom if you are interested in any of the products!

1. Bare Minerals Original Foundation

When I started wearing makeup, I tried all sorts of BB creams, CC creams, and foundations until I found this one. It is a powder foundation, which I love because it allows my freckles to not be covered up! Not only is this insanely easy to apply (you use a fluffy brush), it also has SPF in it to protect your skin. This foundation comes in a huge variety of colors to match all skin-tones and does not make my sensitive skin breakout when I wear it for hours! I highly recommend this foundation if you are in the market for a new, lighter weight foundation!!

2. Colourpop Eyeshadow

A couple years ago, Colourpop was having a sale on eyeshadow palette so I ordered one. Let me tell you- it did not disappoint. I created my own palette using the pressed powder colors so I picked two pink colors and two gold colors. I wear this palette more than any other eyeshadow that I own. Not only are the colors gorgeous, but they have the perfect pigmentation that blends really nicely. Also, the colors stay on all day and stay looking good no matter how long you are wearing eyeshadow for. You can create your own personalized palette or buy one that is pre-made, and there's tons of color options for everyone!

3. Laura Mercier Caviar Stick

This makeup product is a total game changer. It is an eyeshadow stick so it is so easy to apply. I use this product mostly as an eyeliner instead of eyeshadow because I think it makes a really pretty line. The color is vibrant and makes a statement, and it comes in a huge range of sparkly or matte options. I have two- one matte and one sparkly- and they are both awesome. The matte color I have is called Cobblestone, and it is a really pretty grey color that goes on really smoothly and perfects my eye makeup. The sparkly color I have is my favorite, called Amethyst, and it is the perfect dusty rose color. I like to use it as a liner over lighter colored eyeshadows which creates an understated and simple makeup look.

4. Revlon Eyelash Curler

I am a firm believer that life is better when your eyelashes look long and curled. This eyelash curler completely changed the way my eyelashes look when I put on makeup. They gently curl my lashes up to make them look incredibly voluminous and full which helps my mascara apply more smoothly and evenly. Not only does this eyelash curler work wonders, but it makes your eyes look bigger. This is a super cheap makeup product that I can honestly say I use almost everyday. If you want to up your eyelash game this product is perfect for you!!

5. Maybelline Falsies Mascara

This is my all time favorite mascara. I have tried a bunch of different brands throughout the years but nothing can seem to compare to this one. It comes in colors (but I always get the blackest black) and goes on really smoothly. There are no clumps when you apply it- which is one of the reasons I love it so much- and makes your lashes look full, long, and healthy. I have had tons of people ask me if I am wearing fake eyelashes when I use this mascara. I also love it because this mascara is really cheap, whereas other brands that don't look as good are insanely expensive for one tube of mascara. This stays on and will not flake off, washes off really nicely, and is so lightweight you don't even remember you're wearing makeup at all!

6. Laura Mercier Lipgloss

I am not always a lipgloss girl, usually opting for chapstick instead, but when I wear lipgloss it's usually this. I have the rose gold accent color and it is perfect for wearing alone as a gloss or putting over a lipstick for a little shine. The color I have is mostly sheer with a subtle sparkle in it which looks really elegant on. Not only does this lipgloss go on really smoothly and look great but it smells like cotton candy!! There's nothing better when a lipgloss not only looks pretty but smells amazing! It is a long-lasting gloss, and isn't as sticky as other lipgloss I've worn. I highly recommend this lipgloss because it is so simple and pretty on it completes any makeup look you wear!
