Sweaters For This Season

My favorite time of year is Fall and Winter, and that time in-between them when you aren't sure what season it is because its just cold outside. The reason I love this season is easy- sweaters. Sweaters are one of the easiest ways to make an outfit and not only that, they are extremely cozy and comfortable. Wearing sweaters is fun because they can be styled in so many different ways but they will still keep you warm and they look cute!

I am a fan of a nice turtleneck sweater. This is probably the comfiest kind of sweater to wear when it starts getting really cold out. Turtleneck sweaters will keep your neck warm while you go about your day, while still looking hip and trendy. The easiest way to wear a turtleneck sweater is with a pair of high waisted jeans. With just a little front tuck, this is the prefect way to wear this kind of sweater. The reason wearing high waisted jeans is the best for this look is because turtleneck sweaters tend to be really bulky, and you want a fitted pair of pants with the sweater so that you don't get lost under too much material.

A more classic sweater is a v neck. This sweater gives off a more preppy vibe. This is a really easy look to throw on in the morning without giving too much thought into an outfit. My favorite way to show off a v neck sweater is by wearing an eye catching necklace and a messy bun. This combination allows people to really appreciate and take in the cute neckline of the sweater. Additionally, this kind of sweater tends to not be extremely bulky which means that if you wear a necklace with it, it won't get stuck in the sweater in an uncomfortable way.

A fun colored sweater is one way to make the grey, cold days feel a little brighter. Pick a sweater in a neon color that you might not normally choose, in order to liven up your wardrobe. Styling a bright colored sweater is actually easier than it seems. You can easily pull it off with black jeans, which mellow out the color a little. If you're feeling a little more adventurous, I recommend pairing the bright colored sweater with a long skirt. Wearing a long pleated skirt with a bright colored sweater balances the look out, while creating a chic and feminine look.
