Valentine's Day Nails

It's hard to believe, but it's almost February already! This means that Valentine's day is fast approaching. You may or may not have plans this year, but no matter what you might want to feel festive! The perfect way to feel festive without having to make plans or buy a new outfit, is to have some cute and fun nails! There are so many cute Valentine's day nail ideas that can be the perfect way to get into the spirit of the holiday. No matter what your plans are, at least your nails will look good! Here are a couple fun nail ideas!

A Simple Heart

This is such a cute, simple, and fun nail idea. You can do this on any length nail, and with any colors, which makes it easy! You could totally do this design at home- just paint a base color, then to make the heart do a little dot and use a toothpick to make the heart shape! A great aspect of this Valentine's day nail design is that you could use colors that aren't pink and red if that isn't your thing. I love the simplicity of this design, and I might even have to try this one myself! So cute!

Swirl Heart

This takes hearts to the next level. I love the multiple shades of pinks and reds in this to make it feel spot on for the holiday. Another reason I love this design is because the heart is only on one nail. Mostly, it looks like a cool, swirly, geographic design. This is a Valentine's day themed nail design, but doesn't necessarily scream Valentines! It would also look really cool in other colors if this is too girly for you! Still a pretty minimal and simple design, but looks super cool and fun for the holiday.

Kisses

If hearts aren't really your thing, this is still in the spirit of the holiday! I love how the lips are still on theme, but aren't hearts. To do this, I think a neutral base, or even a black base would look super cool. Then the lips are in bright colors which makes it look really fun. This is such an intricate and cool design that people will definitely notice. This is so festive and perfect for Valentine's day. The bright colors and fancy design are what drew me to this look, and also the fact that I could never do anything like this myself! It is super unique but also super cool. I am really into this mani, not only because I love pink and red together, but because it is so simple and chic. I am not super into nail art- partly because it's time consuming and partly because I love simple nails- so this one spoke to me. This is easy enough that you could do it yourself, and still is in the spirit of the holiday without the graphic hearts, lips, and xo's. This is not only really cute, but looks simple and sleek! If you aren't a fan of reds and pinks together, you could always swap out one of the colors. For example, you could do pink and white instead!

Neutral Colors

If you are not into Valentine's day and don't want the colorful nails, this one is perfect for you. I love how effortlessly chic this design is. I also think its super cool that it is still in the spirit of the holiday without the bold colors and designs. This looks super clean and simple, while still feeling fun for Valentine's day! I love the idea that this nail design can be worn for a long time without people really noticing that it is a Valentine's day themed nail. It is simple enough that you could use this design any time of year! If you are doing this yourself, a closed heart is probably easiest- unless you get cute nail stickers!!
