What I Wore Last Week

I thought this was such a fun post last time I did it, so I decided to make this a reoccurring post! What I wore for a full week of work! All of my outfits will have the pieces linked if you are interested in anything that I wore. This week of work was a really busy one, with client meetings and client shopping everyday. Even though it was busy, it was a fun week and the outfits I wore everyday were all different but equally comfortable and cute!
Monday
So I forgot to take a picture of this outfit on my body from this week, but this is the exact outfit that I wore! I had a zoom meeting, so I opted for this comfy jumpsuit! I like to layer a comfortable jumpsuit with a lace bralette to make it look a little more dressed up! A comfy jumpsuit is a perfect way to start the week off - you look totally put together and chic (because who doesn't love a jumpsuit), while still feeling casual and comfy. A jumpsuit is also the perfect outfit for a zoom meeting because you look great without all the effort!

Tuesday
My go- to outfit these days for a totally put together outfit that is easy is a tank with jeans and a cardigan! I like the look of a colored tank and a neutral sweater or a neutral colored tank with a fun colored sweater! This is an outfit that I recommend wearing a belt with. Tucking in the tank gives your waist definition and adding a belt not only completes the look but creates visual balance between the tank and jeans. I decided to wear a black belt and shoes with this outfit instead of brown, because I felt like it was a little more unexpected and exciting. This is a great go-to and easy outfit for any kind of day!!

Wednesday
Wednesday was a hot and rainy day and I was going from work to my grandpa's birthday dinner so I wanted to be comfortable but look good all day. That is why I decided to wear a pretty maxi dress! I knotted the maxi dress up to make it look a little more dressed down, but still chic. A long necklace and a comfy pair of sandals and I was good to go! I prefer the look of a maxi dress tied up when I am wearing flat sandals because I think it adds a little visual interest, plus it dresses the outfit down a little. Also, because I am short, knotting a maxi up still allows you to see a little leg which makes my legs look longer!

Thursday
Loved this outfit!! Again, I went with the casual vibe of jeans and a tank top, but made this look a little more trendy and modern. I love the pattern and texture of these jeans so I kept my top pretty simple with just a black tank. I also threw on a black bomber because it was rainy! I thought the boots were a fun twist to create excitement in the outfit while also pulling it all together! I love the look of a white boot in summer- especially on a rainy day so your feet don't have to get wet! This is an outfit that was work appropriate, but also something I would wear to go out at night! A perfect 12 hour outfit!

Friday
Last but certainly not least, we have a casual Friday outfit! I love the look of a graphic tee and jeans. I tucked the tee into a wider leg dark grey jean and finished it off with some white sneakers! I decided on a brown belt to add some fun (and I thought a black belt blended in too much). Something that I did with the shirt that made it more flattering was to roll up the sleeves. I rolled them twice to make it hit at a more flattering point on my arm. This whole look was super easy and comfy, but still looked cool and put together. I also think because of the sleeves rolled, the belt, and the tucked in top this outfit created a lot of visual balance. A great outfit for any casual Friday!
