What I Wore This Week

I had a very busy week this week and I left the house a ton, meaning I got to dress up and wear cute outfits every day. I thought it could be fun to do a post about what I wore every day this week. Every outfit will have the pieces linked, or have similar pieces because some of my clothes are not new! I am keeping it real because Friday I worked from home and didn't get all dressed up. Leave a comment about which day was your favorite outfit!

Monday

I love outfits like this that are so easy to throw on, are comfortable, but they make you look put together. Monday I went shopping with a client so I wanted something super easy to run around in. I wore a sleeveless top, skinny jeans, and a pointy mule. I know people are saying that skinny jeans are out but I disagree! The skinny jeans balance out the flare at the bottom of the top. I added a pointy toe mule with this outfit because wearing a pointy toe with a skinny jean elongates your legs! And who doesn't want to look like they have longer legs?!

Tuesday

It was pretty chilly on Tuesday- like in the 50s- so I opted for a light sweater! This sweater is super cropped so I tucked it into high waisted wider leg pants. The key to an outfit like this is to add a belt! A belt gives your waist definition and evens out the puffy sleeves of the top and the wider leg of the jean. Since my belt was black I had to tie in that color again in my shoes so it all looked put together! Also, these are my FAVORITE jeans so if you are in the market for a new pair of pants I highly recommend these!!

Wednesday

I loved this outfit! The graphic tee was fully tucked into the flared jeans to give my waist a little definition. I am not afraid of color and I thought the color of this cardigan was SO fun for summer, and it perfectly matched the graphic tee! I wanted to be comfy but still look put together and this is a perfect look for that vibe. Throwing a cardigan on over the sweater tricks the eye and makes you look slimmer (I can't explain why it just truly works). I decided sneakers and a braided ponytail would complete the look by making it a little sporty while still being elevated casual. Such an easy look to copy!!

Thursday

I am a huge fan of a jumpsuit because it looks cute while still being super functional. I wore this all day to shop with a client then threw a jean jacket over it and went out to dinner. A perfect day to night outfit! Again, the pointy toe mule helps elongate the leg! I love this jumpsuit because the top is elastic so it really helps give your body shape and gives waist definition which makes you look slimmer! This outfit was extremely comfortable, but still looked professional!

Friday

And this is where I am keeping it real because I don't dress up when I work from home! I love a fun colored sweatshirt with a patterned pair of shorts. This is just a really comfy and casual look, and I don't have to worry about what I am wearing when I am working from home all day. I think a bright colored sweatshirt is so fun (and perfect for me because I am always cold). Patterned shorts create a little interest in the outfit so you don't look like you are sitting around in PJs! I also love a cute matching set for a day working from home (when you have no meetings)!!
